Yorkshire Gas and Power (the trading name of E E Solutions Ltd, company registered number 06748590) is a licenced commercial gas and electricity supplier to England, Scotland and Wales operating in the UK and based in Leeds since 2009.

We offer a wealth of energy expertise delivering the finest customer service to all customers and partners. Whilst experiencing high levels of growth we have maintained high standards by utilising new technology, allowing automation to bring fresh innovative processes into the company. This fuel mix disclosure has been created in accordance with Ofgem’s supply licence conditions for the period 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020. This period was prior to YGP changing their policy to supply only 100% renewable electricity.

Our fuel mix disclosure for the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 will show that YGP supplied 100% renewable electricity. YGP is committed to help to reduce the impact of climate change.

Ofgem allows electricity suppliers to update their fuel mix data for the period up to 31st March 2021 between the period 1st August 2021 and 30th September 2021. Please check this page after 30th September 2021 to view the most recent supply period data


Need Help?

YGP bill customers monthly and in advance using an advanced cost estimate. This advanced cost estimate is calculated based on your estimated annual energy consumption and contract prices agreed to by you on your contract with YGP.

We rely on our customers to provide meter readings regularly; we aim to communicate with your smart meter where possible. Half hourly customers will have their data generated and sent to us via the data collector each month.

Where an actual read is submitted, this is reflected in your bills.  Otherwise, an estimate will be used.  If you see an estimated read on your bill, please contact us to provide your latest read. 

Where your meter is half-hourly, estimated consumption is normally indicative of an issue with the communication link between your meter and the data collector, which will be resolved as soon as possible.
